Safeguarding Bedfordshire (Adults and Children Safeguarding Training) are delighted that you are applying for a Safeguarding course as it is vital that anyone in a paid or unpaid role and whether working with children, families and/or vulnerable adults understand the responsibility that they have to promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and also be able to recognise and report any indicators of abuse – physical, emotional, sexual or neglect.
Safeguarding Bedfordshire is pleased to advise that you are able to self-register for access to around 70+ Safeguarding courses. To view all the available courses please click here. Once logged in please use the “requested learning” tab to request the new course you wish to carry out.
Once you start your on line learning you will have 6 weeks to complete. If you do not complete the course within the 6 week period your organisation will be charged for the cost of the course at £25.00 plus VAT.
If you do not complete the course this may have a negative impact on your organisation ability to evidence statutory learning of staff, you will not benefit from any direct impact on your role and your client base will not benefit from any of the changes to your practice that may be an outcome of the learning.
How long it will take
Once you have registered via the link below then you will receive an email and password within a matter of minutes. You can then login to your Learner Record straight away and request your course(s) via your ‘Requested Learning Tab’ - all requested courses will then appear instantly on your ‘Active Learning Tab’. Each course takes approximately 1-3 hours to complete with a short test at the end. If you have passed then you will be able to print a certificate of completion. You do not have to complete the training all at once, you can dip in and out of the module, at work or at home and the system will monitor your progress.
